CarriGene® Plates Novel Fast Transfection Plate for In Vitro Delivery of Plasmid DNA to Mammalian Cells
Revolutionary, Unique Format & Reverse Transfection Protocol Cuts Transfection Assay Time in Half This technology drastically reduces the transfection procedure from two overnight processes to just one. CarriGene®Plates are pre-coated with Kinovate's unique, biodegradable cationic polymer transfection reagent, allowing you to seed and transfect your cells on the same day and obtain your results one day earlier. Using a reverse transfection method, just add your DNA solution first, then cells last and the procedure is complete in just one overnight process! Your results will be ready the next day, saving time, labor and speeding up your research. Figure 1 below illustrates the power of CarriGene® Plates technology to deliver rapid results. With CarriGene® Plates waiting for results need never interfere with your research schedule again. CarriGene® Plates allow you to efficiently plan your experiments and will redefine the way in which you perform transfection.
Superior Reliability - Simplified Process Results in Reduced Human Errors Simplicity: Streamlined process means only 2 steps are required to complete the entire transfection procedure Reliability: As the reagent coating amount is fixed, only the DNA amount need be varied for extremely simple optimization. CarriGene® Plates also helps to reduce human and systematic errors by eliminating labor intensive processes (mixing reagent/DNA, changing medium) especially when handling multiple samples simultaneously; resulting in greater reliability and consistency in your results. Exceptional Transfection Efficiency in Common and Some Difficult Cell Lines CarriGene® Plates work effectively to deliver plasmid DNA to a broad range of cell lines including a variety of both common and some difficult to transfect cells (e.g. HUV-EC, various cancer cell lines). In the data shown, Kinovate's CarriGene® Plates showed greatly superior transfection efficiency compared to the leading competitor in a variety of cells, including AD293 and HUV-EC. The cells were transfected using the pGL2 plasmid following the manufacturer's protocol and recommendations. The luciferase expression was measured 24-36 hours post-transfection.
CarriGene® Plates have successfully transfected cells in over 40 different cell lines.
Extremely Low Toxicity CarriGene®Plates are pre-coated with Kinovate's proprietary biodegradable cationic polymer transfection reagent onto cell culture dishes of various well sizes. Once inside the cell, the polymer will biodegrade and facilitate efficient release of the DNA cargo. The biodegradation of the polymer will result in smaller non-toxic molecules, resulting in significantly improved cell viability.
Perfect for High Throughput Applications - Saves Time & Labor CarriGene® Plates are also available in a convenient 96-well format. Our groundbreaking technology saves significant amounts of time and labor by simplifying and speeding up the entire transfection process, making it perfect for High Throughput applications. By delivering results one day quicker than conventional reagent transfection, and eliminating the need to mix reagent/DNA solution and change medium, CarriGene® Plates will deliver enormous savings in time, labor and costly errors to labs performing High Throughput Screening on small to large scale. Streamlined Inventory & Less Waste - Stable for more than 1 year at room temperature CarriGene® Plates have proven stability for more than 12 months at ambient temperature. With no need for refrigeration or to carry excess stock of reagent, you can store precisely as many plates as you require, making ordering, inventory management and stock holding efficient, as well as eliminating costly waste. |
